continuation! On with the good stuff!

Saturday: In the morning, I made pancakes that had chocolate pudding mix in them! 89! they were really good and we dressed one up to look like Arthur Kirkland XD (Sadie-Kun has a pic of it on her DA!) so anyways, we got into our hetalia cosplays and headed to the con! In the car, we started discussing how funny it would be if the characters from hetalia were on an airplane! (this is relevant for later!) about 5 minutes after we arrived, and got too hot dressed as England and russia so we went to the bathroom so that they could change into Miyuki (Lucky star) and Belphegor (kattekyo hitman reborn)and I put on the england cosplay! I never thought I would be cosplaying Iggy! haha! Anyway, we did that for awhile and creepy old guys kept taking Cyriikun's picture! XD We decide to enter the Masquerade after that, so we sign up and walk down the street to Camille's to write our skit which is based off of our idea for hetalia on a plane that we came up with in the car! Sadie-kun's mom got a hotel room where the con is because she wanted to go hiking over in the devil's punchbowl (aka death!) so we went up there and decided to change (again XD)and somehow.... we ended up as Cyriikun as drunk England, Myself as drunk France, Sadie-Kun as a Ganguro and faeryofDOOM as depressed drunk Lithuania! XD It was tres funny!(look in my favorites to see pics of this!) we went on a rampage after that, harrassing all of the hetalia cosplayers in our drunken state, more specifically the Canadas XD At one point, I went with to the doujin table and we rumaged through two boxes that were overflowing with yaoi doujin and sorted out what we wanted and eventually narrowed it down to 14 good ones XD she got a SebastianxCiel one that is WAY cute! and I got a GreecexJapan one that is also extremely cute! I'm really happy with what we picked <3 anyway, eventually we went back up to the room and changed back into our respective cosplays for the masquerade and practiced~ I am gonna post the video of it here, but beforehand, let me warn you: I SCREWED UP MY LINES SO BADLY. I didn't notice just how bad it was until I saw this XD;;;;; [link] next time will be better because we will be prepared and the audio will be pre-recorded XDD but anyway, despite my fail at the script, we won second place!! 8D YUGGERMAN!!! That was my first time in a skit (first time performing on a stage for ANYTHING, really XD;; )so I am super excited! I really hope I can be in more skits in the future.

Sunday: My mom made awesome muffins and waffles from the leftover pancake mix! was suppossed to spend the night, but she wasn't able to make it >.< but she came in the morning and we got dressed for the lolita tea party! At the tea party, we were able to have Mikarin (who was cosplaying Sebastian!) and her husband sit with us! They were so nice! won the best gothic lolita, won best victorian lolita (I haven't ever heard of this subcategory before o.o), won best unique lolita and won best sweet lolita! I was so happy that all the prizes were won by friends of mine! XD and I am proud of my daughter for carrying on the title of best sweet lolita!! >w< *tear of joy* haha! anyway, the rest of sunday was awesome~ I dressed as France bride lolita and married England XD Mikarin taught us the Maimu Maimu dance and it's really fun! XD Sadly, the day had to end and this week is midterms, so I have been studying a lot, which is NOT fun :/

France is probably the most fun cosplay I have ever done, so I will definitely be doing it again!! I am soooooooo sorry to everyone who was watching the artist alley tables at ani-magic! I feel really bad that I just ran off while you guys were sitting there selling stuff almost the whole time! D8 Please forgive me!

I finally made some decisions for cosplays at AX!

The trembling trio! I will be Estonia with as Latvia and as Lithuania! I'm super excited for this cosplay! >w<

Ganguro! I like my ganguro cosplay and I have more people doing it with me!

I wish I could do Hizaki, but with my current financial situation, I won't be able to afford this cosplay :/ maybe next year >.< I feel like I have been neglecting my love for cosplay recently so that I can afford lolita and I am starting to miss it, so I am putting my lolita wishlist aside for a bit so that I can focus on getting some good cosplays finished instead of doing closet cosplays and half-assed stuff like I have been.~

I think I went a tad bit overboard with prints XD;; I currently have 21 prints that I have nowhere to put! o.o I have room on my walls, but that will quickly be taken up and I also am having difficulty hanging things. I don't have anymore picture frames that can fit the prints I got and I don't want to ruin them by putting tacks in them and tape isn't holding very well... any suggestions?
